Nissan reveals its new Electric Vehicle concept at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show and it is called the Nissan Aria.
In this growing world of technology, the evolution of the automobile industry is taking an overturn from running on fossil fuels to all-electric vehicles. The Japanese giant Nissan has unveiled its Electric SUV concept car at the Tokyo Motor Show, which features some of the cool tech features such as driver assistance technology, dual electric motors with powerful acceleration and dedicated personal assistant with a seamless aesthetic design. Though Nissan has been producing the Leaf globally which is also an electric vehicle, the new Aria is a concept car with concept features and details that makes us doubt how may of it make it on the production model.
The design elements of Aria are intentionally and practically taken from the previous concept car from Nissan which was showcased at the 2017 Tokyo Motor Show - the Nissan IMx. The Aria features a bold V signature line grille that is blended with LEDs and an illuminated logo with sharp creases and details that goes along the roofs where the C pillar gives the car a more SUVish crossover look to it. On the rear, a thin LED tail lamp will be a one-piece system across the tailgate of the car.
Once we hop inside the Nissa Aria the car looks more like a lounge than any other conventional vehicle with the presence of a flat floor and thin seats provide better space and a view of angle for the passengers as well as for the driver. The dash has a minimalistic design with buttons only to start-stop, to control the climate of the car, and a rotary dial for a huge 12.3 inches touchscreen infotainment system are only a few things that are mechanically and physically movable dials and buttons in the car.
The Aria has a semi-automated drive system known as ProPilot2.0 which is somewhat similar to what we see in a Tesla where the car drives itself in a given cruising lane. ProPilot2.0 gets data from the navigation system and maneuvers the car on a defined route on designated roads moreover it also assists the driver with exits, diversions and multi-lane highways.
Yasuhiro Yamauchi who is an executive officer at Nissan Motor Company said
“Nissan has a clear vision of the global market. The Aria concept is just the beginning, as Nissan considers how design, packaging and driver enjoyment can be transformed through the architecture of this new platform”.
Arai powers itself through a CHAdeMO technology which energizes the battery pretty quickly, it also notifies the driver with different colored lights as to how much the battery is charged. This excellent power storage management and features such as Nissan Energy the car can lighten up homes when needed. Moreover, this energy-efficient management helps the car on long journeys without lengthy charging interruptions.
